Flash Cadillac has been playing traditional rock and roll for the fun of it for over 50 years! The band started in Boulder, CO in the spring of 1969 as Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids, working at fraternity parties, college functions and night clubs. With appearances in George Lucas’ iconic movie “American Graffiti” in 1973, a “Happy Days” episode in 1975, and in Francis Coppola’s “Apocalypse Now” in 1979, Flash Cadillac became a national attraction, entertaining at colleges, rock concerts and festivals and corporate events over the span of two decades. Then in 1992, in collaboration with the Colorado Springs Symphony, Flash created a classic-rock orchestra pops program which they’ve performed with more than seventy symphonies from coast to coast. Having recorded twelve albums (from vinyl to eight-track to cassette to CD), they’re truly ‘Legends in their Own Minds’. Flash Cadillac was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame in 2012; and continue today as ‘Keepers of the Flame’ of traditional rock and roll.
